Season 1 of Netflix's teen drama series Blood & Water was picked up for a season order on 25 February 2019.[1] The first season of the series was released on 20 May 2020.

On 15 June 2020 Netflix announced that the series was renewed for a second season.

Synopsis[]

After crossing paths at a party, a Cape Town teen sets out to prove whether a private-school swimming star is her sister who was abducted at birth.
