Fikile Bhele is a character in Blood & Water. She is portrayed by Khosi Ngema.
She is a popular academic honors student and star swimmer at Parkhurst College and was expected to become head girl. Puleng believes that Fikile is her missing sister, Phume, who was kidnapped at birth.
Throughout the series, her life spiral out of control when Puleng joins her school.
Before Blood and water[]
Fikile Bhele was born on August 16, 2003 to Nwabisa Bhele and Brian Bhele. She was their first and only miracle child -or so she thought. But the truth about her birth is that she was actually kidnapped shortly after she was born, and her real parents are Anthony Gabisa and Thandeka Khumalo. Her birth name is Phume Khumalo. She is the result of an affair, as was conceived after Thandeka's husband Julius Khumalo asked for space a while after their wedding and Thandeka cheated on him with Anthony Gabisa. Julius did not know about this until the family had to take a DNA test to find out if Fikile was indeed the baby they had been looking for all these years. Julius, who had spent the last 17 years trying to get over the disappearance of his first daughter, was of course absolutely crushed to find out that she actually wasn't his.
Fikile attends Parkhurst College.
Events of Blood and Water[]
Season 1[]
She is first seen celebrating her 17th Birthday party at Chris's mansion and encounters Puleng for the first time in a bar. She helps her order for cider when the bartender ignores her before leaving. Later in the party, she is later seen making out with Chad Morgan in a secluded room. Unbeknownst to her, Puleng secretly witnesses them and she flees when Chad notices her.
She is then later seen on the balcony of Chris's house with Karabo 'KB' Molapo, Chris Ackerman and Reece Van Rensburg, cutting her cake.
